So seeing as I had the day off yesterday. After running a bunch of errands and chores I decided to play MW2 online in a FFA Deathmatch. When I got into a lobby I noticed there were some people that were already level 39! I mean holy crap do these guys sleep????. I achieved the first rank at least. But then a couple of my volleyball teammates came over and we went to sportsplex to practice.

So we had another good round of Borderlands last night.

Who needs Modern Warfare 2?

So I heard that Modern Warfare 2 was out and I even managed to snag a copy. However, when I sat down at my Xbox last night all I wanted to do was load up Borderlands. So I did.

Yes, Borderlands.

So last night on Pandora Graybush, Coxxorz and Blackwalt found a mission that we were all eligible for: Side Mission 65 Smoke Signals: Investigate Old Haven and Mission 66 Smoke Signals: Shut Them Down.

It was difficult. Very. We died a lot. We faced a well armed unit of soldiers who were individually tough, outnumbered us and were backed up by laser guided turrets. Many, many deaths all of which cost us several 100's of thousands of dollars in regenerate fees. Although we did level up, which didn't help as much as you would think.

So I went to Rogers to pickup my pre-order. I discovered I hadn't really looked at the pre-order receipt that carefully...

I went an hour and a half after opening and my timing was perfect. I missed the 37 people that were lined up for the store opening, most of who were trading in for the game. So I avoided the delay and was the only person in the store when I arrived.

Perfect for the upcoming argument that I was expecting.

GameDaily released an article on the biggest gaming disappointments of 2009, with Duke Nukem Forever's demise being one of them. I admit that I held out hope for years for this game, since I was a huge fan of the previous one.

According to Starcraft's lead producer, the Starcraft II Beta has been delayed into 2010. At this rate, Duke Nukem Forever will be out first.

In other news, Diablo III Beta will be released at the end of the Millennium.
