Mysterio not so Galactic after all

By Blackwalt - Posted on 24 October 2007

So Coxxorz (Deadpool) and I (Captain America) went into Marvel Ultimate Alliance once again last night and discovered that Mysterio wasn't the second coming of Galactus. We also saved the world's mutant population, a large Dam, a five storey mobile lab and discovered that M.O.D.O.K. is a sore loser at Trivial Pursuit. I think it was the two AI characters that made us so effective: Luke Cage and Human Torch. Read more

I think I'll be safe here.

By Half-pint - Posted on 24 October 2007

The pressure of running Herd of Cats is getting to me.

I think I'll hide here for a while. I don't think anyone will find me here.

I feel safe here for some reason.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance – Monday Night Flighting

By Blackwalt - Posted on 23 October 2007

Crimson Dynamo: Most powerful super-villian on earth?Crimson Dynamo: Most powerful super-villian on earth?
Speaking of Flight or Fight, Herd of Cats got together a Marvel Ultimate Alliance team of Four Player Co-op. Where it was mostly flight. And screaming like little girls... lots of screaming like little girls.

Here is a link for a Marvel ultimate Alliance Tactics Guide. No reason.

So the HoC Avengers were Blackwalt as Captain America whose fashion power kept him changing outfits, Stormblade as Iron Man whose Hoover power kept him sucking up coins and secret items, Coxxorz as Thor whose power was secretly wanting to be Iron Man and constantly mouthing off about Captain America's slightly out of control flying shield, and rounding out the team MoriceRevek as Ice Man whose power was not knowing that he was an X-Man not an Avenger and pissing off his teammates by icing up their hands when they weren't looking. It's the sweet absence of Sylar. Isn't that awesome ?

I am not sure I could have sat through another filler episode. So it's good news that this one actually had content. Read more

MS Xbox Support makes me go hmmmm

By Blackwalt - Posted on 22 October 2007

Microsoft Support has added confusion and disinformation to their campaign against me.

It's working. I have no idea what they are thinking and am totally confused. I really am overestimating their competence and trust me, my estimate is low.

In our continuing correspondence (on varying subjects) they sent me a letter. Not just any letter but a support letter.

New Evil Empire - Best Buy

By Ice - Posted on 22 October 2007

Ok so maybe Evil Empire is overkill, but I am beginning to hate them more then normal. It seems like everyone has a "Must Scam Ice" concept, Best Buy being the most recent.

League of Dysfunctional GentleCats

By Blackwalt - Posted on 21 October 2007

Since so many of us have taken advantage of the $9.89 deal for Marvel Ultimate Alliance it has been suggested that we have a Superhero night.

So this morning as I threw Stormblade out of the house he suggested tonight.

So let's. First four players can join the Herd League for four-player co-op. Anyone else can form their own league.

By Blackwalt - Posted on 19 October 2007

I didn't really understand the point, idea, or advantages of the Halo 3 video capture/theater mode until I saw this clip.

It's hilarious and the player needed the replay to figure out how he had killed himself.
