Did I mention?

In my Basement Leak follow up story I mentioned that a drainage pipe had been clogged. But I didn't say by what.

A massive bee. Yes a bee. I am no entomologist but the bug had stripes along it's thorax which says bee as far as I am concerned. My blackberry holster is in the photo for scale.

It was big and I wholeheartedly agree with Rolly's "yuck."

Led by Guba on Sunday morning Blackwalt went intrepidly into his (our) basement to attempt to track down the source of the HoC Amazon Trickle.

Black Ops: using a swastika is a banning offence

Stephen Toulouse is the Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox LIVE. He recently caused some controversy when he was asked by one of his Twitter followers if they could use a Swastika image on their Call of Duty Black Ops playercard.

“Hey, I’m not a genocidal hater of Jews but I really love the design of the swastika because its actually used by numerous religions, can I use it as my Call Of Duty: Black Ops logo?

Not exactly sure how you can appreciate the design of the swastika without being a genocidal hater of Jews but Toulouse took it as a legitimate question.

He provided a legitimate answer, “no, of course you can’t, we’ll ban you.”

Bought a pack of imported Ramen type noodles. Instructions on the back say:

Mix noodles with seasoning and stir well.

Les nouilles de mélange avec les épices et l'agitation bien.

Now, if they had at least used google translate, they would have gotten:

Mélanger les nouilles avec l'assaisonnement et bien mélanger.

Although, mélanger twice is a bit redundant, so they should have used remuez.
